Industrial storage Freyung

The battery storage system at Aptar GmbH in Freyung, Lower Bavaria, is a typical industrial storage project. The hardware of this storage system is identical to the standardized Smart Power Cube, with individual battery racks being interconnected in a modular fashion via string inverters. The storage system is used for peak load capping, which saves 80% of the grid charges for the customer via the 7000-hour rule. A special feature of this project is that the energy management system can switch on a diesel genset on demand.
