SMAREG 8

Located in the heart of the Elbe-Saale region, near the UNESCO Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve, SMAREG 8 increases grid flexibility. Connected at the medium voltage level (20 kV), it has a total capacity of 22 MWh and an output of 20 MW.

By providing control power, SMAREG 8 supports grid stability and helps safely integrate renewable energy into the electricity grid.
