Personal Data

Personal data is data about you as an individual. This includes your name, address, and email address. You do not need to disclose any personal data to visit our website.

In some cases, we need your name and address as well as other information in order to provide you with the desired service.
The same applies if we send you information material at your request or if we respond to your inquiries. In these cases, we will always inform you accordingly. Furthermore, we only store data that you have automatically or voluntarily provided to us.

When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for additional information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.

Contact

When contacting us (e.g. via contact form, email, telephone, or social media), the details of the inquiring persons will be processed to the extent necessary to respond to the contact requests and any requested measures.

We respond to contact requests within the scope of contractual or pre-contractual relationships in order to fulfill our contractual obligations or to respond to (pre-)contractual inquiries and, in addition, on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries.

 • Types of data processed: Inventory data (e.g., names, addresses), contact details (e.g., email, phone numbers), content data (e.g., entries in online forms)
 • Affected persons: communication partners
 • Purpose of processing: Contact requests and communication
 • Legal basis: Contract fulfillment and pre-contractual inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

Data Stored Automatically

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

 • Date and time of the request
 • Name of the requested file
 • Page from which the file was requested
 • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
 • Web browser and operating system used
 • Full IP address of the requesting computer
 • amount of data transferred

This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempts to attack our web server, we store this data for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons based on this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level so that it is no longer possible to establish a connection to individual users. The data is also processed in anonymized form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data sets or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts. Only in the context of our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity report, is the number of page views presented.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier for the cookie. It consists of a string of characters that can be used to assign websites and servers to the specific internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited websites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the person concerned from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific Internet browser can be recognized and identified via the unique cookie ID.

By using session cookies, the controller can provide users of this website with a user-friendly service that would not be possible without the use of cookies. Without consent, we only use technically necessary cookies on the legal basis of legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Online Application

We use the Personio system from Personio GmbH Rundfunkplatz 4 80335 Munich for applications. Your IP address is automatically transmitted to Personio.

When you apply to ju:niz Energy (formerly Smart Power GmbH, Green H2 GmbH), we process your personal data for the purpose of processing your application. Your application data will only be used for this purpose and within the framework of legal provisions. Your data will be treated confidentially. We only collect personal data from you that is necessary for the application process. Your data will be made available to the manager of the relevant department.

We collect the following data when you apply: last name, first name, email address, telephone number, and any documents you may have uploaded. Your data will be deleted no later than six months after the application process has been completed. The controller within the meaning of Art. 4 GDPR is the responsible body to which you are submitting your unsolicited application. The legal basis for the processing of your data is the application of the data subject, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 26 (1) (1) BDSG.

Analytics Tools and Advertising

eTracker

This website uses the etracker analysis service. The provider is etracker GmbH, Erste Brunnenstraße 1, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

With etracker, we can analyze the behavior of our website visitors. To do this, etracker collects, among other things, your abbreviated IP address, geo-information (maximum city level), log files, and other information that your browser transmits to our web server when you visit the website. This allows us to measure website interactions such as dwell time, conversions (e.g., registrations, orders), scroll events, clicks, and page views of the website visitor. These interactions are assigned to the website visitor for the duration of the current day so that they are recognized when they visit again. After the end of the day, visitor recognition is no longer possible.

No cookies will be stored in your browser without your consent, and no information will be read from the memory of your device. The cookie-free use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. The rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subjects are preserved. The IP address is anonymized as early as possible during the analysis with etracker, and visitor recognition is possible for a maximum of the current day.

If consent has been requested, processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
You can deactivate etracker here:
